Coaching options with
Cathy Goodwin -The Relocation Expert

"Let's get started..."

Q. What are your coaching and consulting options?

I offer three plans
Details here.

I offer two specialty options:

and Bite-Sized Coaching: The $27 Question

Q. How do you define coaching?

A. I offer a mix of consulting (providing information and sharing what I've learned from experience) and what many people call coaching (helping you recognize and use what you already know). Most clients prefer to call me a "coach" and I'm honored!

Q. You live in New Mexico and I live in Chicago! How do we work together?

A. You can call me from anywhere on the planet and send email from any computer. Distance also helps protect your privacy.

Q. I'm looking ways to think out loud, bounce ideas and openly discuss frustrations.

A. When you run a business, hold a senior position, or move to a new location, a long-distance relationship with a coach can help you stay focused and avoid blurring boundaries. And it's not always easy to identify trustworthy confidantes. Your new neighbor could be your best customer's best friend.

Q. I'm considering moving across the country -- but I'm not sure I'll be happy there. Can you help me make a decision?

A. Often relocation challenges can influence career success and vice versa. I wrote the book (literally!) on moving. I've lived all over North America myself. We can also talk about structuring your move to avoid pain and enjoy personal growth.

Q. When is the best time to get started?

A. When you're ready to move -- or when you are completely stuck on what to do next. If you're going on vacation, call me if you plan to explore new options while you're away. Otherwise, wait till you're refreshed and ready to work! And if you're recovering from a serious illness or crisis, give yourself time to gather energy before making the call.

Q. How do I know coaching will help?

A. In my experience, successful clients typically know what they want to get out of each consultation. They ask directly for what they want. They commit to the process and make each call a priority. They're proud of their decision to hire me and recognize that we're working together as a goal-oriented partnership.

Options

Rebuilding Plan: A goal-oriented program to stay on top of current challenges while implementing long-term plans. Especially helpful for support during long-term projects (career change, starting a new business, managing a big project).

Nine 60-minute calls in a 90-day period. Unlimited email support. $887.
I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation for prospective clients.

Revitalization Plan: When you want to move more slowly, with lots of time between calls. Especially helpful for projects like settling into a new career or residence, or when you anticipate a change in the more distant future.

Five 45-minute calls in a 60-day period. Unlimited email support. $595.
Free 30-minute initial consultation to prospective clients.

Renovation Plan: Take 60 minutes to make a tough decision or discuss a specific situation that's been keeping you awake nights. I'll read a reasonable amount of your material before and after.

$175 for one sixty-minute hour, includes one ebook, a detailed summary from me, and two weeks of unlimited email immediately following each hour. Buy three sixty-minute hours for $450.
Use anytime during a six-month period.

I also offer resume and interview preparation packages.

Bonus Value:
Within twenty-four hours of each call, I send a detailed follow-up email, summarizing key points we discussed, suggestions for future work and any additional thoughts.
And with each call you get a free ebook (click here to see the list) and gift certificates to classes (click here for sample topics).

Getting started

To get started:
Free 30-minute initial consultation to prospective clients. Call 505-534-4294 (Mountain Time) or send an email with the subject "begin coaching." Tell me something about yourself and (very important) your availability within my office hours: 11 AM - 7 PM Eastern/NY Monday-Friday. You should receive a reply within 2 business days, usually sooner.

My yahoo instant messenger logon is goodwincathy.

I answer all emails within two business days. As we all know, emails occasionally get lost. Please call or try again if you don't hear from me.

Calls may be rescheduled at no additional charge on 24 hours notice. When you buy a block of time, think of joining a gym: how you use that time is up to you.
